This morning,
I arrived at the office to begin my typical day. I fired up the
computers...and to my dismay, all our content changes we had made
to our website since 6/5 were gone. Well, to make a long story
a little short, I fired up StoreMan, and essentially restored
my site's content within 5 minutes of finding the problem. Without
StoreMan, I could have restored from a weeks old site back up.

Great program, I would highly
recommend it. There are several import modules out there but,
it would take 3 different modules to do what you can do all in
StoreMan. It is especially helpful if your products have attributes,
as it greatly simplifies that process.

It's pretty cool. Everything
in one place. It was the best solution for me because I'm moving
data from a Yahoo store (manually by cutting and pasting since
there is no way to export their current data!). I'd say it'll
end up reducing by 65% the work I'd have to do if I had to use
the standard Merchant web interface.

I second that...especially if you are not familiar with databases
like myself. It is very easy to use. The download and upload features
are a real time saver. I can make hours worth of changes and only
have to close my store for 5 minutes to complete the changes!

Cynic's Review: In a word... Genius! Congratulations to PHOSPHOR
Media on the release of StoreMan. I downloaded the demo first
thing this morning as soon as I heard about it. With this solution,
your company has greatly supplemented the basic functionality
and addressed many of the key limitations in the default Merchant
product administration system. The interface looks simple and
powerful. I'm drooling for the official release! I have been dreaming
of something like this for many months, and even delaying data
entry in search of an elegant solution. I think I've finally found
it! It's been a while since software got me this excited! With
their latest import/export and attribute replicating feature additions,
I would say everyone should have it for convenience sake!

I use it to
maintain over 3000 item (small numbers compared to others). It
handles all the inputs that can be updated through the flat-file
import that Miva Merchant supports by itself. Its also a lot more
"fail-safe" and user friendly than Excel. I like that its easier
to type data into something that is Merchant friendly instead
of jumping through hoops with Excel.
