1. Is StoreMan available for download?- Top
No, we do not offer a downloadable version at this time. We have found that it is too error-prone and in the end, less time efficient.
2. How soon will I get my copy of StoreMan?- Top
Once we receive payment, we generally ship the next day, if not the same
day. Within the United States, delivery has been averaging 3-4 days. Outside
the United States, it has been averaging 5-7 days.
3. Can you ship overnight?- Top
Yes, you can select Expedited shipping and have your order sent out either
overnight or next-day. (The method depends on when the order is receieved.)
However, since USPS takes, on average, three days and is free--and Expedited
shipping can still take a day or two and costs $20.00 to $30.00, we humbly
suggest you save your money and use the extra day to become more familiar
with StoreMan through use of its Demo.
4. I need to switch from Merchant 3 to Merchant 4. How do I do this?- Top
You need to upgrade (actually trade-in) your StoreMan3 copy for a StoreMan4
model.
Trade-in
costs can be found in our store.
5. What if I order StoreMan and it doesn't work on my system?- Top
We are committed to helping you setup StoreMan correctly on your system.
We do offer a 30 day guarantee, so if we (you and our support staff) are not
able to get it working properly with a good faith effort, you can return it
and we will refund your purchase price.
6. What OS does StoreMan support?- Top
StoreMan has been extensively tested on these versions of Microsoft Windows:
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT4, Windows ME, Windows 2000,
and Windows XP. However, as computer configuration can affect
how or whether an application works, we suggest you install and
run the Demo. If the Demo works, so will the retail version of
the product.
7. Are you going to offer a Mac/Linux/BeOS/Java/Amiga version of StoreMan?- Top
The short answer is no.
The longer answer is, since StoreMan is a Microsoft Access 97 and VBA based
application, and Access is only available for the Windows platform, that platform
is the only one we can offer for StoreMan.
8. What PC configuration do you recommend for use with StoreMan?- Top
We recommend a minimum Pentium II 350 MHz PC, with 500MHz or more being significantly
better.
You can get by with as little as 32MB of RAM, but if you have a large amount
of products, 128 is more realistic. (This also depends on the OS - NT or Windows
2000 need a LOT more RAM than 95 or 98.)
Video size should be 800 x 600 at 16-bit color, but you will be more productive with 1024 x 768 and 24-bit color.
Hard disk space is not a big issue - just make sure you have 20 MB for the StoreMan installation and at least 20 MB for your Merchant store files (or more depending on the size and complexity of your store). - Updated: March 3, 2001
